Research

I am researching ways in which the brain learns to represent the visual world in a sensible and externally meaningful fashion. Our brain turns a confusing medley of changing and unclearly related pixels into a consistent object-based interpretation of the external world, and it does this without any explicit information on whether its interpretation is right or wrong. I am working with, and trying to develop, different models for how this learning and visual representation process occurs.
